I’m happy to guide you through all of life’s challenges with the attention and care you deserve.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology from York University and a Master's of Arts in Psychology from Yorkville University. I have extensive experience in the field of private practice and psychological assessments with specialization in rehabilitation and forensic psychology. I help a diverse population of clientele including survivors of sexual assault, criminal activity, motor vehicle accidents and chronic pain as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment-related difficulties.I work primarily with adults and adolescents on individual, couples and family basis.
My primary mode of therapy is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I work towards meeting clients' unique and individuals needs and collaboratively working towards living the life they always planned.Work with me and I will ensure you are heard, listened to, supported and validated. In therapy, you never lose control of your life. I will never take any power away from you, your decisions and your life. We work collaboratively and, with my additional insight and perspective, we work towards your goals and dreams.
A reason to start a therapeutic journey is personal and varies on a case-by-case basis. Many times, people enter therapy when they feel an immense amount of stress in their individual lives, relationships or families as well as in work or other institutions. Other reasons may include an inability to effectively overcome trauma from unpleasant memories in your past.
